I'm one photo behind, but being home alone when husband is away, taking care of a toddler and being sick is no easy. January, please finish, and February please bring some sunshine and warmth.

When you live in London you never know when the sunshine will disappear. One minute it's just over there, warming your face in this cold weather, and another minute it changes into rain and wind. Well, luckily I happened to catch those few bits of sun today.

That's the three languages our little girl hears, speaks and soon will write. That's impressing for two-and-a-half year old ;)

20.& 21.

Yes, I knew it's gonna happen. Sooner or later I would not write a post with a photo of the day;) But as long as it happens because I'm busy it's ok, isn't it? Well, small update on the way then.

The recent weather has given me so much energy. Andto celebrate it let's have some colour therapy;)

Monday 17 January 2011

We are bored. Rain, rain, rain. All day everyday. So what else can we do than grab a camera and Peppa Pig magazine;))

I don't like this habit. Phew...I hate it. And I happen to live with a person who smokes. But I guess it photographs well;)

I bet that in January, in the most boring and grey month of the year, I'll be having loads of indoors photos. Today one of our cooking fun. Yes, those little steps of flour were all over the house;) And in a funny way I loved it. Means so much to me.

Today we had weather telling me: soon, Spring will come! ;)

Not the best quality but I love this photo. Showing the real nature of toddlers, playing peek-a-boo and strongly believing that if they close their eyes we cannot see them;)

Everything was set. The tripod, check. Model, check. Light, check. Command to a two-and-a-half-year-old not to move, check. The moment I pressed the button, she shouted: Mummy, pee pee!!!!!!!! And so the photo looks like that:

Christmasy feeling, still in our house. But since I'm planning to take all the decorations off very soon I decided few more last shots can be taken.

I was blessed with a child who loves eating (Touchwood!!!!)

The weather is not really encouraging to go out a lot with a toddler, so for now I have to find inspiration at home, in our garden or during not many local walks. Today me again.

There are those moments you just want to last forever. One of them is looking at my daughter.

Sunday 2 January 2011

Project 365

I've taken on this idea as I think it's ideal to become a better and better photographer. Although I know it's gonna be difficult at times, as being a busy mum such things don't always get together smoothly but I will try. I can't promise I'll post everyday, of course;) But I will take A Photo A Day! I'm actually aiming at making two sections: everyday life and myself. Everyday life being basically things I see around, my daughter, my husband, my friends, animals, nature. "Myself" is straight forward, photos of me taken everyday in order to look back at the end of 2011 and see the change in me. Should be fun ;))

All those photos are not supposed to be The Best in the world. They're supposed to be Mine, show my feelings, the world around me, the people I love, the people I don't know. Simply another step in delivering better photos and learning so much more there is to be learnt.

So here we go, the first 2 photos.
